It’s Snowing!
…in my blog and the whole WordPress.com land, that is.
WordPress has now made its “Snow” feature available. If you are running a WordPress.com blog, you should go to your Appearance tab; if you did not change things around in your admin panel, this is the first tab in the third group of tabs as shown below:

Click on the Appearance tab. You’ll get a drop-down list of options. See the following illustration:

Click on Extras to reach the Extras Page. Check the “Show falling snow on my blog.” and click on the “Update Extras” tab (I highlighted it in yellow) after that.

That’s it! You’re done!
You can now have snow on your blog until the 4th of January. If you get tired of the snow, you can turn this feature off by unchecking the “Show falling snow on my blog.” option. If you want more than just snow, host your own WordPress blog.

Just discovered something new; the “snowflakes” dance to your tune – move your cursor all over the page and they will respond.
Just another useless update, he he he
I love WordPress so I enjoy discovering new things about it. It’s no biggie; I love to teach (or is it preach?) anyway, he he he. Of course, hosting your own WordPress blog is even better for you will get all sorts of features and plug-ins and whatnots – although you do lose out on the security of the WordPress.com network (this is something I learned through experience
)
I really love the snow for now…
Hey Jinky! Thanks for “teaching” us about the snow thingy! Loved looking at your blog with the snow falling, so I made it snow on my blog as well. Hehe.
Thanks!
