Dance Brown Monkeys, Dance!

You have probably read my post about the Papaya Dance. I’m specifically referring to the post entitled “Papaya Dance: Get a Load of This” where I show vids of people dancing the Papaya.

Well, have you read this post lately? If you have, you’ll read this quite inflammatory comment from an anonymous being who was not brave enough to leave a name, a real email address or a website address where he or she can be reached. Here’s his or her comment in its entirety:

Yeah, why not dance you brown monkeys! Dance the papaya dance while your economy goes down the drain. Dance the papaya dance while your country is being bypassed by your neighboring countries. Dance while lining up for NFA rice! Why are people from the philippines so lame? Why is it that you were once 2nd only to Japan(with the help of Uncle Sam of course), but now bypassed by Thailand and Malaysia? Why is it you had the same population as Thailand before, but your population doubled while your economy sank? Is it really your government to blame or your stupidity and lameness as a people?

I really don’t know what his or her problem with the Papaya is. He or she also hates Filipinos, obviously. Maybe he or she got dumped by one? He he, sorry, I can’t resist. I’m just a brown monkey who loves to dance, after all.

It’s obvious , however, that it’s more passion than logic talking here. I’ll be interested to know what you think.
